instalação sonora site specific multi-canal (144 alto-falantes) que aborda a memória do espaço CheLA, uma antiga fábrica de amianto. utilizando sons coletados no contato com as diferentes superfícies do edifício a instalação sugere a dispersão de partículas de amianto pelo ar, bem como a presença da fábrica na memória da comunidade e da cidade.

“so many things we don’t listen to” is a site-specific multi-channel sound installation (144 speakers) that activates the memories of the CheLA space, an old asbestos factory. using sounds collected in contact with the different surfaces of the building, the installation suggests the dispersion of asbestos particles through the air, as well as the presence of the factory in the memory of the community and of the city.
